Who writes the articles

The articles are written and checked by the Interior Designer UK editorial team, which signs every article collectively rather than under individual names. The team does not offer design services, does not take referral fees from designers, contractors or course providers, and has no commercial relationship with the British Institute of Interior Design, the Society of British and International Interior Design or any other body named on the site.

Where the figures come from

Every figure comes from a page the editorial team fetched on the publication date, and the article links to that page at the point where the figure appears. The main sources are the Office for National Statistics, the National Careers Service, Prospects, BIID and SBID pricing pages, the Approved Documents and VAT notices on GOV.UK, the Planning Portal, the Health and Safety Executive and legislation.gov.uk.
